| These longleaf pine supports (aprox. 3 ft. high) were used in stairways to support the handrails. Often the most ornate newel was found at the base or beginning step of the stairs. |

| Porch Posts |
| These turned posts were used to support the porches of Victorian homes. Around 7 ft. high and turned from a 5" x 5" or 6" x 6" post and the height can be extended with addition to the plain top and/or bases. |

| Brackets and Corbels |
| Brackets and corbels were found in Victorian architecture as decorative features and can be used to support shelves, as wall decor, beneath ceiling beams, as mantle supports or to decorate porch posts and overhangs. |

| Balusters |
| These turned spindles were used in the supporting of the handrails in stairways. Often two or even three per stair tread were used and are aprox 32 inches high. |
